SUNY ESF will proudly host the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) e200 USA graduation on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 on the ESF campus. As one of ten community partners, we congratulate the e200 program graduates, instructor John D. Liddy, and our colleagues at the SBA Syracuse District Office on this outstanding effort.
The e200 Graduation Program outlines the graduation program, describes this training program, and features the graduates, each of whom are already successful business owners and community leaders.
e200 (or more formally, The Emerging 200 Initiative) is an intensive training initiative to accelerate high-potential small business growth in America’s inner cities. The comprehensive curriculum provides participants tools that will help them to catapult their business to the next level and help them to emerge as a growing and self-sustaining business in our community. Developed by the U.S. SBA, the e200 training program is supported by a coalition of local economic champions and by business advisors and mentors who lend invaluable insight and expertise.
The e200 graduation will feature a presentation by Michael Chodos , Associate Administrator, Office of Entrepreneurial Development, U.S. Small Business Administration. Mr. Chodos is responsible for overseeing the agency’s counseling and training resources and programs for America’s entrepreneurs.
