Registration for the 2013 NYS Green Building Conference is now open!
Join us for the 11th Annual New York State Green Building Conference!
On Monday, March 11th we will also host a Pre-conference Workshop on the vision, planning, design, and construction of the Gateway Center, SUNY-ESF’s new state-of-the-art green building- built to achieve LEED Platinum certification. This workshop is an opportunity to experience ESF”s new Gateway Center and to interact directly with the key people and organizations who led the vision, planning, design, and construction of one of New York’s newest green buildings. Professionals will learn about all aspects of the Gateway Center and will be able to discuss current issues in green building and enjoy networking opportunities at the reception that follows.
Prior to the Pre-conference Workshop, we will also host the first Student Leadership Summit at the Gateway Center. More details coming soon!
On Tuesday, March 12th at the Oncenter there will be concurrent session presentations on the latest developments, trends, and opportunities in key green building fields: building science, environmental, LEED, commercial, and residential, as well as keynote presentations from Dan Reicher, Executive Director of the Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance at Stanford University, and Alex Wilson, founder of BuildingGreen, Inc. in Brattleboro, Vermont. This conference serves as a forum for green building research and development, best practices, and discussions on green building science, operation and maintenance, as well as an opportunity to network with other green building experts, professionals, and researchers. This conference is also approved for PDHs for engineers and CEUs for registered architects and is under review for LUs for landscape architects, GBCI CEs and AIA LUs.

This conference is hosted by the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council New York Upstate Chapter and the Syracuse Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems (Syracuse CoE).
