On Tuesday, February 19, 2013, the Small Business Administration (SBA) District Director Bernard J. Paprocki will be holding a press conference announcing the 2013 Emerging Leaders (formerly e200) Initiative. The Emerging Leaders program was instituted in 2008 and since then has trained over 1,300 small business owners in underserved communities in 27 cities throughout the United States. Through this program, small business owners receive over of 100 hours of instruction that provide them with tools for success in their business endeavors. SUNY-ESF is proud to partner with the SBA for the Emerging Leaders program for the third year in a row.
“Emerging Leaders has a proven track record of helping small businesses in underserved communities. Graduates of the program have increased their revenue, created jobs and helped drive local economic growth in their communities,” remarked SBA Administrator Karen Mills.
