Congratulations to TACNY leaders and to all of the sponsors and participants who made the 17th Annual Celebration of Technology a great success. This year’s keynote speaker was Sean O’Keefe, University Professor at Syracuse University, and former NASA Administrator and Secretary of the Navy.
Larry Leatherman received the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his 37-year career at Bristol-Meyers Squibb and (among other significant leadership roles) as president of our beloved Museum of Science and Technology (MOST).
Along with other award recipients, Drs. Joel Howard and Tom Amidon received the Technology Company of the Year recognition on behalf of Applied Biorefinery Sciences, their early-stage industrial bio-cleantech company headquartered in Syracuse, N.Y.
The photos below highlight Sean O’Keefe at the podium; current MOST president, Toni Martin, in conversation with Larry Leatherman; and TACNY President, Maria Welych, congratulating Technology Company of the Year recipients, Tom Amidon and Joel Howard.
We look forward to another great year from TACNY.
